Proteome is seeking curators and editors to gather and integrate C. elegans protein information for a multispecies proteome database to include yeast, other fungi, and C. elegans. This database is targeted to industry and to biological researchers in all communities who need protein functional information from model organisms. Like YPD, it will be freely accessible by academic researchers. Positions are open for multiple PhD-level scientists with C. elegans research experience. C. elegans curators Ph.D. and C. elegans laboratory experience required. May work part-time or full-time from a remote site via Internet, or full-time at Proteome, Inc. in Beverly, MA.
