Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research position in our lab to study the molecular basis of vulva formation in C. elegans. Currently we are extending the analysis of cell migrations and cell fusions during morphogenesis of the vulva. We will study the architecture of the vulva in existing mutants to examine the involvement of cell fusions and migrations during the construction of the vulva. More details are available on request. We are looking for applicants with a strong interest in developmental mechanisms preferably with training in genetics, cell or molecular biology. The position is initially available for two years but can be extended. Please send inquires and applications, including CV and the names of two referees to: Dr. Benjamin Podbilewicz Department of Biology Technion-Israel Institute of Technology Haifa 32000 Israel Tel: (972) 4 8292783 lab Fax: (972) 4 8225153 email: podbilew@tx.technion.ac.il
