A postdoctoral position is available in my lab at the Institute for Behavioral Genetics, University of Colorado, Boulder to work on the "amyloid worm project". This NIH-funded research project employs transgenic C. elegans animals expressing human proteins to model amyloid diseases such as Alzheimer's disease (see Link, PNAS 92:9368, 1995). This work will likely involve a range of techniques, including genetics, molecular biology, and microscopy. A sample of what we are up to can be found on our web page (http://ibgwww.colorado.edu/-linkc/index.html). Please contact me if you are curious about or interested in this position.
